Conor has always had an interest in anything with wheels and an engine. With his Dad racing motorcycles, and then co-running TCG Motorsports, Conor grew up around racers and motorcycle racing.

After much pestering, in September 2008 Conor got his first bike, a Polini 910 minimoto. He rode every other Sunday on the indoor track at Caxton and loved it.
In 2009 Conor, and his TCG Motorsport team mates, decided to contest the NPS minimoto championship.
Conor entered the minimoto 4.2 Junior Novice series
With only a few months experience riding on an indoor track; racing with up to thirty others on a big outdoor circuit was a massive step.
After a steady start to the season, he began to progress, moving further up the results with every round.
They raced at circuits all round the country, in all types of weather in a very well run competitive championship.
Towards the end of the season he was running up the front, and was kindly lent a more powerful production bike to enter in another class for extra track  time.
His hard work, and constant analysis, of his riding paid off.
He scored podium finishes in both classes.
Conor made lots of friends and really enjoyed the racing, and the paddock atmosphere.
